The handmade image transfer process that I have begun to use lends a new twist to my work. Unlike traditional photographic prints, this method physically alters the image, creating layers and imperfections that mirror the organic, unpredictable nature of shadows. This approach grounds the work in a tangible, tactile experience, reinforcing the theme of living with shadows rather than simply observing them.
